Coach McClain:

 

Coach McClain has been the Chief of Police of the Willard Police Department since 1993. He is one of the D.A.R.E. officers for the Willard School District and has taught D.A.R.E. since 1991.

Coach Mc Clain has enjoyed boxing for most of his life and has successfully boxed in two Kansas City Guns N Hoses boxing events.

After many years of holding charity boxing events in Willard, Coach McClain started the Willard Police Athletic League and helps coach the youth boxers in the program.

 

Coach Cozzens:

 

Coach Cozzens has been in law enforcement since the year 2000, a Police officer for the Willard Police Department since 2006, School Resource Officer for the Willard School District from 2006 through 2015, and now the Director of Security for Baptist Bible College.

 

Coach Cozzens has been involved in Wrestling, Boxing, Jiu Jitsu and other martial arts for all of his life. After many years of competing and then coaching in the sports of Wrestling, Kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu, and Boxing ,Officer Cozzens and Coach McClain formed the Willard PAL program.

 

Prior to his law enforcement career, coach Cozzens was on the Ohio National Guard High Power / Service Rifle competition team and is currently a Missouri P.O.S.T. certified firearms instructor. 

Coach Adams:

 

Coach  Adams has  been a Missouri Highway Patrol officer over 14  years and has over 25 years of boxing and kickboxing experience to include competing in the very first Willard Charity Boxing event in 2002.



Coach Adams is a great example to our youth with his knowledge and willingness to go the extra mile with all of our youth. He has been a devoted asset of  the Willard PAL program for many years with his never ending patience, long time skill sets, and ring experience. 

Coach Purdy:

 

Coach Purdy has been  a Willard Police Officer since 2012, and has been boxing for over half of his life, as well as being involved with the Willard PAL program for several years.

Coach Purdy is a very accomplished MMA fighter, Jiu Jitsu practitioner, Kickboxer, and Boxer. He holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with several NAGA championship Titles.

 

Some of his accomplishments include the 2006 National San Shaou Kickboxing Title, the Springfield Guns  N Hoses 2013 Fighter of the Night Award, and being featured in the May 2006 edition of Strength And Health Magazine.
